The Joe Steen Memorial Golf Tournament

The Joe Steen Memorial Golf Tournament was created to honor Joe Steen's life and legacy and to unite people for a meaningful cause. Golf was deliberately chosen—it's a sport based on integrity, camaraderie, and community, values that mirror how Joe lived his life and how the Foundation strives to serve others.

More than just a day on the course, the tournament exists to turn remembrance into action. Proceeds from the event directly support the mission of The Steen Family Foundation: helping those who cannot help themselves. This includes providing care and resources for four-legged pets in need, assisting individuals and families facing hunger or homelessness, and responding to people experiencing unexpected or emergency hardships.

Just as Joe had a gift for bringing people together, this tournament provides an opportunity for friends, families, sponsors, and supporters to come together through compassion and generosity. Every swing, sponsorship, and contribution helps carry on Joe’s legacy by making a real difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.

Through fellowship, purpose, and service, the Joe Steen Memorial Golf Tournament ensures Joe’s life continues to make an impact—offering hope, help, and dignity.
